About Me…..

August 7th, 2006

This is my first year teaching at Germantown Middle School. Previously, I was the band director at Lauderdale Middle School and Ripley High School in Ripley, Tennessee. This year I’ll be teaching band, general music, choir and computer classes for grades six through eight. I am only at GMS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I’m very excited to be working with the very well-known Red Devil Marching Band with Mr. John Lane.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am teaching at Germantown Elementary School. I will be helping Mrs. Kay Odom by teaching music classes for students in kindergarten through fourth grades.
I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in 2003 and my Master’s degree in 2005. Both degrees were in Music Education. While at the University of Mississippi, I was a member of the “Pride of the South” Marching Band and principal clarinetist with the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra. I LOVE OLE MISS FOOTBALL! GO REBELS!

Currently, I am principal clarinetist with the Corinth Symphony Ochestra in Mississippi. I also play with the River City Concert Band and the Germantown Symphony Orchestra.
