6th Grade Music

TSW:

  • Complete the following warm-up: “What is your favorite song? Why?”
  • Take the quiz over Week 4–Treble and Bass Clef note names
  • Continue practicing labeling note names and all previous lessons
  • Practice labeling the note names during classwork
  • Complete the classwork as homework if it is not finished in class.

SIP: 5.0–Reading and notating music

Computer (B WEEK)

TSW:

  • Review how to open and close applications
  • Begin the typing program: (10 minutes) http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/flash/stage1.shtml
  • Begin project 1:
    • School Principal – Imagine that you are the principal of Germantown Middle School. Write a story that describes what the school would be like with you as its leader.
      • Clipart
      • Word Art
      • Check Spelling
      • Change the Font
  • Review and use the proper procedure for leaving computer class (computer at home screen, chair pushed up, area clean)

SIP: 1.0–Understanding basic concepts of technology.

3.0–Using technology productivity tools.
